In the initial phase, we decided to employ web scraping using Python to extract challenges and databases listed by GovHack. We chose to utilize the ChatGPT API to identify, summarize, and group these challenges and databases. To structure the project, we opted for Notion as our organizational tool. For data analysis, we selected Power BI over Tableau, primarily because our team possessed more expertise in using Power BI.
We also made the strategic decision that our solution would manifest as a software product. Due to time constraints, we focused on develop a prototype for the complete workflow of the solution.
